Since 1903 Bideawee has stuck true to its founder’s vision. Mrs. Flora D'Auby Jenkins Kibbe’s no-kill shelter was revolutionary in those early days. They took care of every stray, including horses and farm animals. Their rich history and foundational principles have created a reputation, and today they're known as one of the nation's leading animal welfare organizations. The Pet Memorial Parks at Bideawee in Wantagh and Westhampton offer a wide variety of options to memorialize and pay tribute to your pet as well as providing bereavement counseling to help pet parents cope with the loss of their loved one. Their home is at Manhattan at 410 East 38th Street in New York. They also have two Long Island locations in Wantagh and Westhampton. Apart from their adoption program, Bideawee runs a hospital in Westhampton. They are a full-service hospital providing wellness, surgical care, medical services, and more. Dr. Melissa Young is the medical supervisor at the hospital. Call Bideawee today to schedule an appointment for your pet at their hospital, which is open Monday through Saturday. If you are interested in adopting a pet or becoming a volunteer, visit their Manhattan and Westhampton locations. Leave a review online of your experience, and help Bideawee to make a difference.
